What follows describes, in plain terms, how the software actually behaves today. It is accurate, and it is not a substitute for the document itself.
ChairTab is software for running an orthodontic clinic and its laboratory. It is provided as a subscription, billed per clinic rather than per person.
Every new clinic is approved by hand before the product opens to it. Until that approval, an account exists and holds nothing: signing up creates neither access nor an obligation on either side. A trial runs for thirty days from approval and needs no card to start.
An account can be closed by the clinic or by us. Either way the same window follows: ninety days during which the product is switched off but the clinic's own Admin can still sign in for one purpose — exporting its records. After that window the records are erased and cannot be recovered.
When a clinic asks to close, we record who asked and what they said, so the request can be produced later. When we close an account ourselves — for non-payment, or because a clinic has stopped responding — we record the reason in writing.
We do not read patient records. There is no screen in our console that opens one, and that is a property of the database rather than a promise about our behaviour.
Support is raised inside the product by a clinic's Admin, and every ticket carries a reference. Please describe problems by case reference rather than by patient.
